THE TRAIL

The start is Hansbakkfjæra , right down by the fjord. From here, ten kilometers along the Ladestien await with beautiful views and nature close to the city.

all the way to the finish line at Havet Arena .

Right from the start, the trail follows the classic Ladestien , one of Trondheim's most popular hiking areas. Here you run close to the sea with open views of the Fosen Alps and the fjord .

‍

The surface is mostly gravel, and small bumps provide enough variety to get your legs working.

‍

On the way you pass Grilstad, Rotvollfjæra, Ringvebukta and Korsvika , among other places.

‍

The last kilometers lead you into Nyhavna , Trondheim's vibrant harbor area, where the crowd, music and atmosphere meet you in the finish area at Havet Arena .

Applause and fjord breeze; a perfect end to ten kilometers of coastal running!

Access information:
Hansbakkfjæra is located in Ranheim between Ranheimsfjæra and Grytbakkstranda. The nearest bus stop is Engstrømbakken. The train stop Ranheim station is also close by.
